With our new kitchen counters, trivets are so important
because putting a hot plate or pan on the counter can damage your counters. I
can never seem to have enough trivets around and this trivet provided exactly what
I need. It looks great and protects my counters from hot plates and food.
This trivet is really heavy – and is made of solid cast iron
in a vintage type design. I like that it comes with rubber feet to add a level
of protection and to prevent scraping across your kitchen counter. The edges
are not sharp and are rounded if that’s a concern for you. The trivet is a
square and is 6.5” x 6.5” this trivet now has a permanent home on my counter next to the stove.
