Review: Bypass Garden Pruners By Garden force

I have a huge raised bed garden and always seem to misplace my pruners when it's time to trim my herbs. This year my herbs are growing like crazy so it's important to keep them trim so they continue to grow all summer long.

I had the opportunity try these pruners by Garden Force that are exactly like a pair I have so I'm very familiar with the way the work. On the second photo you'll see the pair I have on the left with the Garden Force pruners on the right. They are nearly identical and work the same way.

I do like that the Garden Force pruners come with an extra spring and blade in the event they need to be replaced. With how often I use my pruners I would expect to do so frequently.

Overall, I like these pruners, they do exactly what I thought!

Creative Jet Herb and Spice Grinder

I know I've mentioned gardening a lot so this should be no surprise that we also grow herbs - specifically parsley, basil, mint, oregano and lemon balm with more to come all the time.

I had a bunch of dried herbs from last summer that I wanted to use ASAP before it was time to start picking our fresh herbs. I had already dried them and wanted to finely grind them to use in cooking.

This spice grinder what just what I was looking for as I was able to grind up just what I needed as I needed it. The only thing I really don't like is the design on the cover. This has five pieces that just twist together so help separate the good spices from the debris. You can adapt this to take off a layer if you need something smaller but since this is used in my kitchen it didn't matter much to me.

The Creative Jet Herb and Spice Grinder is available on Amazon.

Rubikliss Garden Genie Gloves

I'll admit when I first put these gardening gloves on I felt a little like Wolverine from the X-Men. Once I got past that part which took all of two seconds, I got to work using these gloves in my garden.

Normally I spend a little bit of each day weeding.  These are great for helping get those pesky weeds. For this reason I'm glad the hard plastic fingers are only on the right hand because you need your left hand (not shown here) to actually pick up the weeds. It was really hard to pick them up using the hard plastic fingers from the right hand glove. I can see these being very useful for planting because often times I use my gardening glove to just dig holes for small plants.

I have small hands so these were large on me although they say "one size fits most."

While I felt ridiculous wearing these, they worked. I was pleasantly surprised.

The Rubikliss garden genie gloves are available on Amazon.

Baloray Lunch Bag Review

I am always on the lookout for the perfect insulated lunch bag because I bring my lunch to work every day so when I had the opportunity to try this lunch bag from Baloray, I knew I had to try it.

I love the striped design -- it's very basic black and white with brown handles -- anyone can use it. It appears to be made from a polyester material but it's not very large. In looking at the dimensions it's 9.1 x 6.3 x 7.8 inches. I love the color and fabric and that I could fit one of my typical lunch containers inside; however, due to the size, I really couldn't fit much more. Maybe I bring too much food with me to work? I also liked the weight of the material, it's waterrpoof and easy to clean.

I don't like that it says it's insulated and it's not at all insulated. I normally keep an ice pack in my old lunch bag and it stays cold all day. In this bag, not so much, not to mention the fact I couldn't zip the bag and my lunch with the ice pack inside.

I liked this bag but it has a few things I wasn't a fan of - the size and insulation mostly. Other than that..this bag is super cute.

The Baloray Lunch Bag is available on Amazon.
