Raj Plastic Cutting Board Review

When I had the opportunity to try the Raj Collection cutting board I jumped at the chance since I needed a new cutting board for our kitchen. The one we were using was old, stained and it was time to replace it.

I put this cutting board to use right away! I love it. The green part grips the counter and it won't slip and slide all over the place when cutting fruits or vegetables like my other cutting board. It's the perfect size for just about everything -- 15 x 9 inches roughly.

Home Kitty Christmas Hanging Decorations

I haven't fully decorated my house yet for Christmas but I couldn't resist putting up these Home Kitty Christmas hanging decorations the minute they arrive. They look so cute hanging in my dining room window, especially since we are having family over soon.

These Home Kitty decorations are glitzy and come in a three pack, one green tree, one silver tree and one snowflake (not pictured here). When the sunlight comes in through the window they sparkle and glitter. I love that the shapes are attached by metal rings. I can use these over and over again. CHIC DIARY Star Printed Scarf

I must start this review by saying I love star printed anything, including scarves. Not only do I love this scarf but I love the print. I picked the basic black with gold stars to review and this definitely lived up to my expectations.

It's lightweight, beautiful and comfortable. It goes with nearly everything I want to wear. The only thing I thought was this was a regular scarf but instead it's a circular scarf but that won't stop me from wearing it. I love it!

Swelt Baby Corner Guards

Corner Guards are a necessity for any new parent to protect little ones against sharp corners. Simply attach these to the corners with the double sided 3M adhesives and they are ready to go. They are not only soft but don't stick out and look obvious like a lot of baby proofing products look like.

You don't need these if you have a child, they can protect anyone from painful bumps or bruises from sharp furniture corners.

ACRATO Baby Bibs

I'm a huge fan of silicone items -- my phone cases are always silicone because they are really easy to take care of, you can wash them with warm soapy water and they look like new so when I saw these bibs I knew I had to try them.

The Acrato baby bibs come in a two pack and are adjustable from 6 months to 3 years old. I love now easy they are to take care of. According to the Amazon listing, "The silicone bib resists stains and does not absorb water;It is easily wiped and washed off by the water or the soafy water" 

The bibs roll up very small and I can see how great they are to use, no laundry to wash a lot of bibs with these. They are functional and adorable.

FAAY Macrame Plant Hanger

I recently purchased a few macrame plant hangers to hang our outdoor plants inside for the winter. I recently tried the FAAY Macrame Plant Hanger and I have to say it was really easy to use, I just put my plant inside the ropes and hung it up.

This hanger is made of cotton rope so I'm not sure how well it will hold up outside in the long term but I plan on keeping it inside and using it that way. The one thing I didn't like was that the ends just see cut and not finished at the bottom but I won't let that stop me from using it. I love the retro style of this plant hanger.

Review: Corcio XL-01 Sachet Empty Bags Purple

Last summer I gathered all my lavender plants and made some lavender sachets but I had a tough time finding bags that I could use that were cute and dint't look like the little organza bags that everyone uses. I'm so glad I found these sachet bags on Amazon. It's getting to the point that I will start to gather all my dried lavender to make bags for my closet.

What I liked, the size of these bags are larger than the small organza bags you can buy everywhere and the pattern on the bottom of each bag really sets these apart. The drawstring isn't attached but they come separately which I also like to tie where you need it. There are 12 bags in this set, so you get three of each design. They are perfect for lavender sachets or even homemade soaps. I can't wait to get to work using these. They are just what I was looking for.

Review: FabricMCC Reversible Sequin Pillow Case

I had the opportunity to review a different brand of mermaid pillow cases not too long ago and while I like this one, I love the other because the sequins are much more sparkly. This is a purple color on one side and when you run your hand along it the sequin flips to blue. The sequins on this are  more of a matte color which is why they aren't as sparkly and shiny but theis pillow case is so fun regardless! I just prefer the sparkle more. All you need is to insert a pillow inside and you are ready to go. The backside is a velvet feel. But overall this is a fun pillow.

Bonita Jewelry: Leather Wrap Feather Charm Bracelet

I am in love with leather wrap bracelets, in fact I own about four of them and I'm happy to add this feather bracelet to my jewelry rotation. The design is simple, it comes in either black or brown with a magnetic clasp and a feather on it.

To wear, just wrap it around, attach the magnets and it's secure on your wrist all day and it's really comfortable.

The bracelet is 14 inches in length and easily wrapped around my wrist twice.

I love that it comes in a velvet drawstring bag - great if you decide to give this as a gift. It's a lovely bracelet, I really love it.

I hate running out of batteries, especially button batteries because they aren't sold everywhere and can be expensive. What can I say about these batteries, I put them inside a LED candle and they worked! I'm glad these come in a 10 pack so I don't have to worry about running out.

Review: Bypass Garden Pruners By Garden force

I have a huge raised bed garden and always seem to misplace my pruners when it's time to trim my herbs. This year my herbs are growing like crazy so it's important to keep them trim so they continue to grow all summer long.

I had the opportunity try these pruners by Garden Force that are exactly like a pair I have so I'm very familiar with the way the work. On the second photo you'll see the pair I have on the left with the Garden Force pruners on the right. They are nearly identical and work the same way.

I do like that the Garden Force pruners come with an extra spring and blade in the event they need to be replaced. With how often I use my pruners I would expect to do so frequently.

Overall, I like these pruners, they do exactly what I thought!

Rubikliss Garden Genie Gloves

I'll admit when I first put these gardening gloves on I felt a little like Wolverine from the X-Men. Once I got past that part which took all of two seconds, I got to work using these gloves in my garden.

Normally I spend a little bit of each day weeding.  These are great for helping get those pesky weeds. For this reason I'm glad the hard plastic fingers are only on the right hand because you need your left hand (not shown here) to actually pick up the weeds. It was really hard to pick them up using the hard plastic fingers from the right hand glove. I can see these being very useful for planting because often times I use my gardening glove to just dig holes for small plants.

I have small hands so these were large on me although they say "one size fits most."

While I felt ridiculous wearing these, they worked. I was pleasantly surprised.

SunGrow Air Plant Fertilizer for Bromeliads

I have to admit, when I purchased this plant fertilizer to try, I thought it was for plants that grow in soil. When it arrived boy was I wrong!

This fertilizer is made specifically for air plants -- and works just like you'd expect fertilizer to work. You add it to your plants soil but because this is for air plants you spray directly on the plant each week.

Simply take the small fertilizer bag and pour it in the spray bottle, add water and mix well. I shook it to mix it all together. This spray will last a long time. It takes absolutely no take to fertilize your plant to keep it healthy with fertilizer like this. A lot of power in small little bottle.

Fidget spinners are all the rage these days...have you heard?? I've seen them spelled fidget and figit so whatever your fancy, these are so fun! I've seen so many news sources -- like Forbes for instance -- cover the science of these spinners there's no need for me to do so.

When I had the opportunity to try two different spinners out, I knew I needed to, I have to know what the rage was about. These do not disappoint. They are so fun. Simply hold the middle and push the spinner around. it will whirl around in between your fingers for a long time. They are so fun. I brought mine to work - and my co-workers and I all love to use it. These are so much fun to use, now I understand all the rage. I am going to buy more to give to all my coworkers!

UGThome 2 Pack Guitar Capo Review

Guitar Capos are great - if you don't know what a capo is it clamps on the neck of the guitar's fretboard at a particular place to play the notes in a different key. These work exactly how they should. You clamp them on the fretboard to keep your guitar in tune when playing -- they worked!

I'm not sure why these came with four heavy felt guitar picks but they were an interesting addition to my purchase.

These capos work exactly how you think and are a fantastic addition to the accessories used when playing with friends.

Poweradd Portable Charger Review

I used the Poweradd Portable charger this past week to charge my cell phone at a work conference and I have to say it was great. I really liked that is had 2 USB ports to charge multiple devices at the same time. It kept my phone charged when it was running low and I was able to charge it multiple times from one full charge of the portable charger.

This charger doesn't come fully charged so I was able to charge it while I was working during the day before the conference and used it immediately. You can't get much easier than letting it charge while you work. Overall..I love external chargers and loved the color of this one even more. It's a little on the heavy side (over 8 oz) to stick in a purse especially if you are like me your purse is heavy but it's great to put in a bag for a conference to keep your phone charged. This device worked exactly how I wanted it to.

C&C 3.5mm Audio Cable Aux Cable Review

 I was in need of a new audio cord to connect my music player to my car and this cord was exactly what I needed. While I used it to connect my music player, you can also use it to connect your phone to headphones.

This cord will work with any device with a standard 3.5mm audio jack and worked well for what I wanted it to. It's a cord and it works well, I can't wish for much more than that.
