I recently had the chance to try the AMUR car phone mount – I had been
looking for something to hold my phone so I can use my phone hands free with
ease and this fit the bill. The car mount is very easy to install, just slip on
the vent and slip your phone in the holder. My phone is a little over 3” wide
so I had to pull the sides to slide my phone in the phone mount. It is a little
difficult to hold the mount fully open when I was inserting my phone because of
the grip on the phone mount.
This phone mount comes in two parts - the phone holder and the part
that attaches to the car vent, which is fastened to the holder with a
ball-and-socket.
The joint on this mount is a bit "sticky" feeling but not slippery.. It has a full 360
degree rotation, so you can use your phone at any angle, but takes a bit of
force to turn or move.
